MyVocal, a developer of mobile services and applications, is now offering its mobile audio content service for commuters. It brings spoken audio content to mobile users worldwide. The service provides access to podcasts, audio books, and magazines, streaming radio, and interactive services through any phone, even a basic one.

Users can control the service with spoken commands, says the company. That makes MyVocal an on-demand mobile radio available anytime, anywhere.

“With MyVocal, you can use your cellphone to listen to anything you can think of – your newsfeeds, documents, articles, emails, even YouTube presentations,” says Alex Patsko, CEO & founder of MyVocal.

MyVocal, according to the company, provides a complete white-label solution for content publishers. It says the solution takes only a few minutes to add RSS or XML feed to MyVocal, and then create a branded mobile portal with audio streaming functionality and a full-scale voice portal.

MyVocal also helps publishers produce spoken audio version of their content. The move is to enable them to monetize their mobile offerings through audio advertising and mobile micro-payments.

It’s planning to release over 60 APIs for third-party applications.
