Electronic Arts (EA) announced today (Aug. 14) the release of Madden NFL 10 to retail stores across North America. The game will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PLAYSTATION 3, Wii, and PSP (PlayStation Portable) handheld entertainment system.
Madden NFL 10 will also be available for feature phones this month, and on the App Store in September.
“Every summer culminates in the release of Madden NFL and it has become an annual holiday for millions of football fans,” said Nathan Stewart, marketing director at EA SPORTS.
This year, according to the company, Madden NFL 10 brings something for everyone. Gamers can experience first-hand what it’s like to “Fight for Every Yard” in Madden NFL 10. With new Pro-Tak animation technology, players have more control over the outcome of each play.
The game is developed in Orlando, Florida by the EA Tiburon studio, which also produces NCAA Football, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, and EA SPORTS MMA.
EA SPORTS is an interactive sports software brand, with titles and franchises including Madden NFL Football, FIFA Soccer, NHL hockey, NBA LIVE basketball, NCAA Football, and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR.
