GN Netcom, which provides headset solutions, has launched its headset, the Jabra BT2080. It’s the latest addition to Jabra’s “Easy Series” headset category and the first to feature Jabra’s new proprietary StatusDisplay LED indicators.
The product features intuitively placed buttons – an answer/end button on the front of the headset and a dedicated on/off button in the back. Volume control is located on the side of the headset and can be easily navigated with the touch of a finger, preventing users from fumbling with controls during a call.
StatusDisplay LED indicators, created by Jabra’s research and development team, display multi-colored lights that correspond to the headset’s battery level and Bluetooth connection status so users can gauge their status with just one glance, says the company.
Weighing less than 3 ounces, the BT2080 combines a matte black finish with a silver button. It has a smaller ear interface and improved Jabra Eargel to ensure a comfortable, molded fit.
The company says that the BT2080 is also the first Jabra headset with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, enabling users with phones that support the technology to enjoy simple, secure pairing without the need to enter a PIN code.
The Jabra BT2080 will be available at retail stores in July for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
