Jumbuck Entertainment has released its mobile chat and flirt service, Power Chat, as an iPhone application. It is available for immediate download in the Apple App Store for $2.99.
Using Jumbuck’s global user base, Power Chat users on the iPhone and iPod touch can have instant access to a mobile community, even people who are not using an iPhone or who are on a non-iPhone carrier. Power Chat for iPhone allows you to chat and share photos.
“Power Chat for iPhone represents the first true cross-country, cross-carrier mobile chat and flirt application launched in the Apple App Store,” said Adrian Risch, CEO of Jumbuck Entertainment.
Users can choose from various themed rooms including Flirt, Singles, Friends, Dating, Sports, Da Club, World Chat, as well as regional and age-specific rooms, among a host of other features.
BlackBerry devices too support such community-based applications. A cross-platform mobile instant messaging provider, SHAPE Services, offered Facebook chat and avatars in its IM+ messenger for BlackBerry smartphones. Facebook users can exchange text instant messages with smileys, send files, log in into multiple accounts simultaneously and preview avatar images of their buddies in contact list.
Power Chat, according to the company, is a chat and flirt service on mobile phones worldwide through Jumbuck’s relationships with more than 100 carriers around the world, including all the top U.S. carriers. However, it says, this is the first time it is available as a standalone (off-deck) application.
Jumbuck Entertainment is a leading provider of mobile community and social networking services.
