snapWith this offer, mobile users can wirelessly exchange a digital business card that looks like their traditional paper version. With the release of SnapDat 1.1, users can customize their own card by inserting their organization’s logo or their photo into design layouts.

“Users want more than just a plain-text vCard. We have kept the best aspect of traditional business cards – their unique style and personality – and added a number of features that were only possible on a digital version,” said Chris James, founder and CEO, of SnapDat.

The offer includes the ability to create multiple SnapCards so customers can send the appropriate card depending on the occasion (e.g. work, personal). And they’ll have one-click links to a YouTube video, twitter, or social networking pages. A geo-stamp will remind users when and where a meeting took place and integration with the phone’s native address book.

Because they’re digital, SnapCards contribute to increasingly important environmental initiatives while reducing costs, says the company.

Users can create SnapCards using over 40 pre-loaded design templates and send them to any email-ready phone. New designs will continue to be added for further personalization, says the company.

SnapDat 1.1 is currently available as a free download for the iPhone and iPod touch.
