Offered by United Business Media and software company CA, the event “The Power of Lean IT: Leveraging Technology for Better Business Benefits” under the Smart Enterprise banner will target tech chiefs in India.
It’s scheduled to be held in Bangalore July 3, 2009 and will discuss applications of IT to reduce waste, increase productivity, and leverage tech innovation to achieve greater enterprise value for both internal and external customers.
Speakers include Professor Sadagopan, founder director of the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore, and Peter Waterhouse, a strategy advisor for CA.
Today, most vendors are eyeing Indian market, as IT budgets are shrinking in most other parts of the world. Indian CIOs plan to spend 5.52% more in 2009, according to a CIO survey carried out by research firm Gartner. The budget increase in the current year is however lower than the 13% increase reported in 2008.
