ASUS Comes Again
New-look Eee PC
Today, ASUSTek Computer has introduced new models of its Eee PC at the ongoing Computex 2008 show at Taipei. The fresh models: Eee PC 901, 1000, and 1000(H).
The company says that the launch of these models follows its achievement of surpassing 1 million Eee PC units sold in 6 months after their introduction in October last year.
The products will come with more options for the users. Its shockproof Solid State Drive (SSD) design, for example, is supposed to give a reliable computing experience to mobile users. This new range of Eee PC is also equipped with Super Hybrid Engine technology that can provide longer battery lifespan of up to 7.8 hours, exclusive web storage with high-speed connectivity, and large displays for easy viewing.
These ASUS products will support both Windows and GNU Linux platforms.
